Britney Spears made it to the courthouse yesterday for a custody hearing she requested - only to quickly bolt from the scene for the second time in a row. Spears arrived to the court on time and emerged from her car wearing bright pink lipstick, sunglasses, shiny gold platform shoes and a short black dress with a ruffled hem. A court spokesman said she got through a security metal detector, then announced, “I want to leave,” and returned to her car.

Diana Wolozin, the massage therapist who discovered Heath Ledger’s lifeless body, twice called Mary-Kate Olsen before dialing 911, according to a timeline police released Wednesday of the moments surrounding Ledger’s death. Police said Ledger probably died sometime between 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities found six types of prescription drugs in Ledger’s apartment. Three of the drugs were prescribed in Europe, where he’d been filming recently. Medical examiner’s office spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said an autopsy Wednesday was inconclusive and that authorities would know more in about 10 days, when more tests are expected to be complete.

Lil Wayne was arrested on three felony drug charges Wednesday after federal agents said they found illegal drugs on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona. The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was released from jail after posting more than $10,000 bond. His next court date was scheduled for Jan. 25.

Busta Rhymes pleaded guilty Wednesday to assaulting his ex-driver and a fan in a deal that will bring three years’ probation and 10 days of community service. The 35-year-old rapper also must enroll in a DWI program and pay a $1,250 fine, plus court costs, for driving while intoxicated and with a suspended license. Rhymes is due back in court for formal sentencing on March 18.
