“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg chimed in on the Miley Cyrus photo controversy yesterday, telling the audience: “Having sort of done this, Annie Leibovitz will show you everything she’s doing…Everybody comes and looks at it, your parents all the folks who you’re doing this for. Everybody had a finger in choosing that. Now Vanity Fair may have said these are the pictures were using, but those pictures were OK’d.” Meanwhile, the Post picked People’s report that Miley grandmother and teacher – but not her parents – were on hand while the semi-nude shots were taken. /USAT 2D, NYP 3

Jordin Sparks said she laughed when she read report she had a life threatening vocal chord injury. Sparks confirmed in an email to MTV News that her vocal chord was hemorrhaging, but says her injury was never career threatening and she’ll be back on the road in a few weeks. /NYP 87

Mindy McCready is dishing about her decade-long affair with Roger Clemens in an attempt to revive her career, McCready’s father has told the Post. McCready is apparently working on a documentary, reality show and a new album. Clemens and McCready met when she was 15 but there was “nothing physical” until years later, according to the elder McCready. /NYP 9

Mariah Carey was “in full diva mode” at the premiere party for her film “Tennessee” at Tenjune, turning her back to photogs until she retrieved the sunglasses she’d just dropped while walking down the carpet. Scott Weiland, 40, was sentenced to eight days in jail after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor drunken driving charge. His band, the Stone Temple Pilots, are scheduled to embark on a 65-city tour May 17. Weiland must serve his jail time by May 28. /AP

Ashley Alexandra Dupre slapped “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis with a $10 million lawsuit claiming she was duped into posing for the cameras. Dupre claims she was 17 when the shots were taken and was liquored up by “GGW” employees who then convinced her to expose her breasts. /NYP 3

Texas child-welfare officials say 31 of the 53 girls between the ages of 14 and 17 taken into custody from a polygamist sect’s ranch either have children or are pregnant. /NYP 17

A Manhattan judge yesterday barred Tricia Walsh-Smith – who made headlines after venting about her divorce in videos posted on YouTube – from filming her rants in her Park Avenue apartment. But both the judge and her husband’s lawyer acknowledged she can say whatever she wants to whomever she wants and broadcast it to the world. Philip Smith is divorcing Tricia on the grounds that she’s been cruel and inhumane to him. In the latest YouTube video posted over the weekend, Tricia says the only cruel thing she ever did to her husband was make him put skim milk in his cappuccino. /NYP 15
